Lee Motor Company and Local Community Raise Over $3,900 for Community Christian School

Wilson, NC-Ford Motor Company and Lee Motor Company partnered to help raise money in support of Community Christian School as part of Ford's Drive One 4 UR School Program.
Members of the local Wilson community helped raise over $3,900 for Community Christian School by test driving Ford Vehicles.  Lee Motor Company worked with Community Christian School to host the one-day event on October 30th.  Nearly 200 people raced down to Community Christian School.  For each participant who came from a unique household, Ford and Lee Motor Company donated $20.

Since the start of the program in 2007, Ford's Drive One 4 UR School program has raised over $3.3 million for nearly 1,000 high schools across the country and has enabled more than 173,000 people to test drive new Ford vehicles.  The monies raised during the Drive One 4 UR School program have helped fund a range of school programs, including classroom supplies for students and teachers as well as extra-curricular activities like sport and band programs, helping to ensure that these programs continue in local communities.

"The day was a win for the school, the students and all of the participants, who had the opportunity to take one of our vehicles for a fun, casual drive while at the same time helping the school fund important programs," said Mark Strickland, Sales Manager for Lee Motor Company.
